As part of our commitment to perform more shows outside of the Christmas Holiday season, The Blenders will be performing for a special Valentine’s party on Wednesday, February 10th. The party is in the Danny Thomas Pavilion at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. This special, private concert, is for the children and families of children currently receiving treatment at St. Jude’s. It is not open to the general public.

The Blenders have won thier third Emmy Award for their work on FOX 9 in Minneapolis. The Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Television Academy (NTA) awarded the pioneering vocal band the Emmy in the category of Musical Composition/Arrangement which featured their original song, "All Wrapped Up". |

| 10/01/08 | The Blenders' recording of “Lean on Me” is featured in "Nothing Like the Holidays" trailer. Last year's "Perfect Holiday" highlighted two songs from the group. "Lean on Me” is one of the staples of the group’s 2006 Songs from the Soul, Volume I album. The movie, released nationally on November 26, 2008, is directed by Alfredo DeVilla (“Washington Heights,” others) and stars John Leguizamo, Freddy Rodriguez, Debra Messing, Alfred Molina, Jay Hernandez, Elizabeth Peña and others.
